Instructions for Using the Bus Stop Finder Utility
Please read the following before proceding to the Bus Stop Finder Utility. Bus service is provided to students who live at least 2 miles or more from their assigned school. School assignment is determined by your residential address, in accordance with the boundary assigned to each school. To determine the student's assigned school, please use the School Assignment by Residential Address Utility. Steps to follow to use the Bus Stop Finder: 1. Enter your address as indicated in this graphic. Note also that a school was selected:
Zip Code: It is recommended that the zip code be entered after the address, as in the example above. If the Zip Code is added, please be sure to enter one space only between the end of the Street Name and the Zip Code:
Please also note that at least one school must be selected for the utility to work. You can select two or three schools, by holding the CTRL key while making the selections. 2. Click the Submit button.

Click on the Route Name to access detailed route information:
Students should be at their assigned bus stop at least five minutes before the designated stop time. Important Notes: Diversity Choice indicates bus stops for students whose school assignment changed due to the construction of a new Middle or High School, but who are allowed by district policy to attend the school that they were enrolled in prior to the resulting boundary change. NCLB indicates that students are eligible for transportation to a school outside of their assignment area as a result of the No Child Left Behind act. Some schools, known to many as Neighborhood Schools, do not receive school bus route transportation. That is because the school boundary does not extend beyond the 2 miles required for eligibility for transportation. If you experience difficulty with the address that you enter, or if you have any questions regarding AISD school bus transportation, please call 414-0238, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:45 AM and 4:45 PM.
