April 15, 2008 - The next African American Men and Boys Conference will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at McCallum High School, located at 5600 Sunshine Drive. The theme will be anger management, and the keynote speaker will be Dr. George McKenna III, an assistant superintendent in the Pasadena Unified School District. McKenna’s successful career as an educator in urban school districts has been chronicled in documentaries and a movie.

Workshops will be held for parents, students and educators. Workshop topics will include life skills and employment, and responsible relationships.  
 
Refreshments will be provided and door prizes will be given.
