2008-2009 Adopted Budget

At the Regular Board Meeting on August 25, 2008, the Board set the following tax rates for 2008-09:

Maintenance and Operation (M & O) tax rate: $1.079, which represents $0.039 increase from 2007-08
Interest and Sinking (I & S) tax rate: $0.123, which remains the same as 2007-08
Total Tax Rate for 2008-09: $1.202

The total tax rate of $1.202 is greater than the rollback rate of $1.163 thus the District is subject to a tax ratification election on November 2008.
