K - 12 Gifted/Talented Nomination = College Preparation!

Knowledge is Power! As T.D. Jakes would say: You have the power to "position a child to prosper!" Empower yourself to put an African-American child on the pathway to college through Austin Independent School District's (AISD) Gifted/Talented Program. Are you a parent, mentor, or community member who sees academic "potential" in an African-American child above his/her peers? Don't just mentor or talk about how smart you think a child is; take action ! You can make a difference. It's as easy as 1-2-3!

Easy as 1-2-3 !

Step 1: Attend an AISD Gifted/Talented Presentation

Step 2: Invest less than 15 minutes completing a Gifted/Talented nomination checklist

Step 3: Enjoy a lifetime return on your investment!
